Branding + Web Design for Feminist Art Education

"Feminist art is not some tiny creek running off the great river of real art. It is not some crack in an otherwise flawless stone. It is, quite spectacularly, art which is not based on the subjugation of one half of the species. "
                                                                                                                                       - Andrea Dworkin

There is hardly any literature in India available on feminist art, especially one using graphic design tools to enhance the communication of ideas of feminist art. In the West as well, while there is material available on feminist art, it is not as prolific as it should be and few books and websites exist which focus completely on it. This project seeks to address this problem and plug this gap in a humble and small way by putting the spotlight on feminist art and underrepresented female artists.
This project was guided by Shilpa Das and Rupesh Vyas of National Institute of Design.
